The Atomic Energy Education Society, an autonomous body under the Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India, has announced recruitment for 254 teacher and school posts. The notification, numbered 01/2026, covers posts in the society’s schools across the country, and online applications will open on 2 November 2026.

Applications will remain open until 22 November 2026, with the window closing at 11:50 pm on the last date. The application process opens at 10 am on 2 November, and candidates must apply online only, through the society’s official website aees.gov.in and its online registration portal. No other mode of application will be accepted.

The 254 posts are spread across eight categories. They include 4 Principal posts, 1 Vice-Principal post, 27 Post Graduate Teacher posts, 102 Trained Graduate Teacher posts, 13 Librarian posts, 89 Primary Teacher posts, 10 Primary Teacher (Music) posts and 8 Balvatika Teacher posts. The society has stated that the number of posts is tentative and may change according to its requirements.

The society is headquartered in Mumbai and runs 30 CBSE-affiliated schools at 15 centres across India. Selected candidates can therefore be posted at any centre in the country, and applicants should be prepared for an all-India posting. Eligibility varies by post, and candidates must check the detailed notification for the post-wise educational and teacher-training requirements before applying.

For Trained Graduate Teacher posts, the requirement includes a graduation degree in the relevant subject along with a B.Ed and the Central Teacher Eligibility Test Paper-II qualification. Other posts carry their own prescribed qualifications, so applicants should read the notification carefully rather than assuming a single eligibility rule applies to all posts. Selection will be through a computer-based test followed by a skill test or interview, as set out in the notification.

The application fee is Rs 1,000 in total for general and other eligible categories, comprising Rs 750 as application fee and Rs 250 as processing fee, while exempted categories pay only the Rs 250 processing fee. Interested candidates are advised not to wait until the final day, to keep their educational documents ready, and to keep a copy of the submitted application for the later stages of the process.
