NHM Haryana CHO Result 2026: 328 Posts, Merit List Not Out Yet

The result of the NHM (National Health Mission) Haryana recruitment for 328 MLHP-cum-CHO (Mid-Level Health Provider-cum-Community Health Officer) posts has not been declared yet — a live check of the official website nhmharyana.gov.in on 7 November 2026 found no merit list, selected-candidates list or counselling notice for this recruitment. The recruitment was open only to BAMS degree holders; the written test was held on 18 August 2026 in Chandigarh and applications were accepted from 29 July to 15 August 2026. This watch page gives you the latest result status, the full recruitment timeline, district-wise vacancies, eligibility, salary and the correct way to check the result — it will be updated here the moment the result is declared.

Nearly two and a half months have passed since the test, and candidates are growing anxious — several websites claim the “result came in October 2026” or that the “exam was held on 19–20 September”, but none of these claims is borne out by the official website — see “Beware of false claims” below. The correct information will appear only on the official website nhmharyana.gov.in, so bookmark this page.

Clear up one more confusion — the CHO notices visible on the official website belong to the old 671-post CHO recruitment (2022–2024), whose latest notice is the document-verification notice dated 1 July 2024. That is a completely different recruitment from this 328-post one — searching your name in the old lists will get you nowhere.

Result / merit list Not declared yet — no list on the official website

Today’s status — what was checked on the official website

  • Live check (7 November 2026, ~9:10–9:18 PM IST): the homepage of the official website nhmharyana.gov.in, the Careers “New Job openings” page and the “Latest updates regarding Interview” page — all three were searched for “CHO” and “1/2026-27”. No result, merit list, selected-candidates list or counselling notice for this recruitment was found anywhere.
  • How current is the website: it is not outdated — its newest item is the provisional result of the Specialists interviews (held 24 September, 30 September and 7 October 2026), and there is also a public notice on MO FIARTC dated 1 October 2026. So the site is updated through October 2026 — the CHO result simply has not been declared yet.
  • Old recruitment’s notices: everything CHO-related on the site belongs to the old 671-post recruitment — advertisements and public notices from 2022–2024, the latest being the document-verification notice of 1 July 2024 and a corrigendum dated 22 January 2024.
  • nrhmharyana.gov.in did not open: on 7 November, nrhmharyana.gov.in failed to load repeatedly (connection reset) — the www and http variants failed too. The same official website works normally on the alternate official domain nhmharyana.gov.in — all the checks above were done there.
  • No notice of the 20 August 2026 counselling either: the advertisement mentioned counselling for bond and contract signing and the IGNOU form on 20 August 2026, but there is no notice of it on the website — so treat that date as outdated and wait for a fresh notice.

Selection process — test and counselling

  1. Screening / written test — held on 18 August 2026 in computer-based (online) mode in Chandigarh.
  2. Counselling — candidates who pass the test will be called for bond and contract signing and for filling the IGNOU form. The advertisement mentioned 20 August 2026, but there is no notice of it on the official website now — wait for a fresh date.
  3. Document verification — original documents (BAMS degree, council registration, caste/domicile certificates) will be checked at counselling/joining.
  4. Certificate course — selected candidates must complete the 6-month residential Certificate Course in Community Health through IGNOU (see the bond section below).

Salary and honorarium — how much you will get

Item Amount
Monthly honorarium, first 5 years ₹25,000 per month (₹18,750 under Pay Band-2 + ₹6,250 additional honorarium)
After 5 years of service Salary and allowances as per Pay Band PB-2 ₹9,300–34,800, Grade Pay ₹4,800 (₹18,750)
Performance-based incentive ₹10,000 after completing the 6-month certificate course (as per Government of India norms)
Annual increment 5% on the initial salary after 6 months of satisfactory service
Dearness Allowance (DA) After 5 years of satisfactory service
House Rent Allowance (HRA) After 10 years of satisfactory service
Honorarium during the course A fixed monthly honorarium will be paid during the certificate course too

Salary discrepancy — not hidden: the same source’s salary table also says “Training Period ₹20,000 per month, After Posting ₹35,000”, which does not match the ₹25,000 honorarium above. This page follows the advertisement’s ₹25,000 honorarium as the main figure; the final salary will be confirmed only by the appointment letter at joining.

Bond and IGNOU certificate course — must know

  • Selected candidates must complete a 6-month residential Certificate Course in Community Health (IGNOU) — the course will run at study centres in Haryana, with no fee to pay (NHM will bear the course fee and logistic facilitation).
  • A fixed monthly honorarium will be paid during the course.
  • If a candidate cannot complete the course as per IGNOU norms (with one additional chance), their contract will be terminated.
  • After completing the course, a bond to serve for at least 3 continuous years must be signed.
  • Penalty for leaving before the bond period: 75% of the monthly honorarium if leaving before 1 year, 50% before 2 years, 25% before 3 years — the money earned must be deposited back.

What a CHO will do — 12 services

Selected CHOs will strengthen their Health and Wellness Centre (sub-centre) to deliver comprehensive primary health care — the first referral point will be the 24×7 Block PHC. The 12 services include: comprehensive maternal health care, neonatal and infant health care, childhood and adolescent health care, reproductive health care, management of communicable diseases, management of non-communicable diseases, basic ophthalmic care, basic ENT care, screening and basic management of mental health ailments, basic dental health care, basic geriatric health care and emergency medical care. Implementing national programmes, health education, family planning and nutrition awareness, and following biomedical waste disposal and infection-control rules will also be the CHO’s responsibility.

How to check the NHM Haryana CHO result

  1. Open the official website: go to nhmharyana.gov.in (nrhmharyana.gov.in was not opening on 7 November — the same website runs on nhmharyana.gov.in).
  2. Look at the Careers section: click “Career” or “New Job openings” on the homepage/menu.
  3. Search for CHO / 1/2026-27: look for a link reading “MLHP-cum-CHO” or “1/2026-27” — the result will come as a PDF.
  4. Find your name by roll number / registration number: search the PDF for your roll number or registration number (Ctrl+F).
  5. Save the PDF: download and keep the result PDF — it will be needed at counselling and document verification.
  6. Beware of fake websites: check the result only on the official website — never pay money or share an OTP with any site in the name of “checking the result”.

What happens after the result

  • Merit list / selected-candidates list will be issued as a PDF — it will carry the names of candidates selected on the basis of marks in the written test.
  • Counselling notice — selected candidates will be called for bond and contract signing and for filling the IGNOU form (the advertisement mentioned this process for 20 August 2026, but the fresh date will be confirmed only by a new notice).
  • Document verification — keep the originals ready: BAMS degree, council registration, caste/domicile certificates and Class 10 mark sheet (Hindi/Sanskrit).
  • Joining and posting — after verification, posting will be at Health and Wellness Centres in the 11 districts, followed by the 6-month certificate course.

Beware of false claims — what is not true

  • “Exam was held on 19–20 September 2026” — unverified claim: one aggregator page gives the exam date as 19–20 September 2026 and the result as “October 2026” — this does not match the advertisement’s 18 August 2026 date and has no support on the official website. Do not treat this claim as fact.
  • “Result came in October 2026” — wrong: the live check on 7 November 2026 found no CHO result on the official website. Any website claiming the result is “out” is giving wrong information.
  • Lists of the old 671-post recruitment are not this recruitment: the 2023 CHO merit list / score PDF (exam of 29 January 2023) belongs to a completely different recruitment — do not look for your name there.
  • No agent can get you a result or a seat: the result will come only on merit — beware of anyone asking for money in the name of “confirming the result” or “getting a seat”.
