The Office of the District Programme Officer, Budaun, in Uttar Pradesh has invited online applications for 391 posts of Anganwadi Worker. The recruitment is being carried out under the district advertisement for 2026-27, which was issued on 3 November 2026. Applications are accepted only online, through the departmental website upanganwadibharti.in, and the last date for submitting the online form is 24 November 2026, up to midnight. Candidates are advised not to wait until the final day, because the portal sees heavy traffic near the deadline in district recruitments of this size.

The 391 vacancies are spread across 16 Child Development Projects of Budaun district: Ambiyapur, Samrer, Sahswan, Islamnagar, Dataganj, Salarpur, Bisauli, Dahgawan, Usawan, Mion, Jagat, Qadarchok, City, Ujhani, Asafpur and Wazirganj. The gram sabha and ward-wise break-up of vacancies has been pasted on the notice boards of the Collectorate, Vikas Bhawan, tehsil and block offices, and uploaded on the departmental website, so applicants should check the vacancy for their own ward or gram sabha before applying. The number of advertised vacancies may be reduced in special circumstances, as the notification itself states.

Only women candidates are eligible for these posts. The minimum educational qualification is Intermediate or an equivalent examination, and the merit list is prepared on the basis of educational qualification, from Intermediate up to postgraduate as the maximum. The age limit is 18 to 35 years as on 1 July 2026. The applicant must be a permanent resident of the ward or gram sabha of the vacant post, and two women of the same family cannot be appointed as Anganwadi Worker and Helper at the same Anganwadi Centre. Reservation is fixed for OBC and SC candidates only; there is no reservation for EWS, Divyang or freedom fighter dependants in this recruitment.

Selection is made through a merit list based on educational qualification, and there is no application fee mentioned in the notification. The post is honorarium-based, and the notification prints no honorarium amount, so applicants should not rely on any figure circulating in forwarded messages. Applicants must fill the online form carefully, upload clean and legible self-attested copies of all documents mentioned in the form, and keep the submitted form safe. The documents required include the high school marksheet and certificate for date of birth, and income, residence and caste certificates issued online with digital signature. Widows must enclose the death certificate from the Gram Panchayat Officer or urban body along with a certified copy of the family register, while divorced or abandoned women must enclose the legal order of the court.

Anganwadi Workers run the village-level centres that look after young children, pregnant women and nursing mothers, including nutrition support, health check-ups and early childhood learning. For women in Budaun district who meet the residence and qualification conditions, these 391 posts are a chance to take up regular honorarium-based work in their own village or ward. Eligible candidates should verify every detail, including the ward-wise vacancy list and the full conditions, in the official notification on upanganwadibharti.in before applying, and should apply only through that portal, since offline forms and documents sent by post or by hand are not accepted in any case.
