The High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh has announced recruitment for 22 Chowkidar posts, giving candidates with school-level qualifications a chance to join the court establishment. The notification, Employment Notice No. 06/CHK/HC/2026, is dated 31 October 2026.
Online applications opened on 31 October 2026 and will close on 21 November 2026. Candidates must apply through the High Court’s official website, highcourtchd.gov.in, where the application link and the detailed employment notice are available.
For eligibility, applicants must have passed the Middle Standard examination and hold a qualification up to Class 12 from a recognised school education board. Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age as on 21 November 2026, the closing date for applications.
The selection for the Chowkidar posts will be based on an interview, as set out in the notification. Candidates are advised to read the detailed notice carefully before filling in the form, since it carries the full terms of the recruitment, including the documents required and the instructions for submission.
The posts are based in Chandigarh, where the High Court of Punjab and Haryana sits. The court serves both Punjab and Haryana, so the recruitment is of direct interest to job seekers in Haryana as well as in the joint capital region.
With the last date falling on 21 November 2026, interested candidates should not leave the application to the final day. They should complete the online form in good time, keep copies of their educational documents ready, and check the High Court website for any corrigendum or further notice about the recruitment.
