Haryana FSL Recruitment 2026: 20 DNA Division Posts in Karnal, Apply Offline by November 10

Haryana’s Forensic Science Laboratory at Madhuban in Karnal has invited applications for 20 scientific and support posts in its DNA Division. The engagement is purely contractual for one year and is being made to clear pending case work in the division, so candidates should read the detailed notification carefully before applying. There are five vacancies each in four posts: Senior Scientific Officer (DNA), Senior Scientific Assistant (DNA), Scientific Assistant (DNA) and Lab Attendant (Support Staff, DNA Division). The number of vacancies is provisional, and the laboratory reserves the right to increase or decrease the posts. The consolidated monthly remuneration ranges from Rs 16,900 to Rs 53,100 depending on the post. The Senior Scientific Officer post carries Rs 53,100 per month, the Senior Scientific Assistant Rs 44,900, the Scientific Assistant Rs 35,400 and the Lab Attendant Rs 16,900. For the scientific posts, candidates need relevant postgraduate qualifications with experience in forensic DNA casework. The Scientific Assistant post requires an M.Sc. with at least second division in a relevant subject plus one year of experience, while the Senior Scientific Assistant requires an M.Sc. with first division or a Ph.D. in a relevant subject plus three years of experience. The Lab Attendant post is open to Class 10 pass candidates, with prior experience in a government forensic, chemical or pathological laboratory, hospital or educational institution preferred. The age limits are 21 to 50 years for Senior Scientific Officer, 21 to 45 years for Senior Scientific Assistant, 21 to 40 years for Scientific Assistant and 18 to 40 years for Lab Attendant. There is no application fee and no written examination. Selection will be through screening of qualifications and experience followed by an interview before a selection committee. Applications received from October 27 onwards are being accepted. The tentative shortlist is expected to be displayed on December 1, 2026, with interviews tentatively scheduled for December 8 and 9, 2026.
