Haryana PM-KISAN 24th Instalment: 16.23 Lakh Farmer Families Get Rs 324.75 Crore in Bhiwani Programme
Haryana’s farmers received Rs 324.75 crore under the 24th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said at a programme in Bhiwani on Friday, 30 October 2026. The payment reached 16.23 lakh farmer families across the state, including 1.21 lakh families in Bhiwani district, who received Rs 24.20 crore. With this instalment, total PM-KISAN payments to Haryana’s farmers have crossed Rs 8,200 crore, reaching Rs 8,206.36 crore over 24 instalments.
Saini was addressing farmers in Bhiwani as Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 24th instalment nationally from Banaskantha in Gujarat. At the press of a button, more than Rs 18,680 crore was transferred to over 9.34 crore farmer families across the country, taking cumulative transfers under the scheme beyond Rs 4.65 lakh crore. The Chief Minister said PM-KISAN, launched by the Prime Minister, had redefined the relationship between farmers and the government and had become one of the world’s largest direct benefit transfer schemes.
Under PM-KISAN, eligible landholding farmer families receive Rs 6,000 a year, paid in three instalments of Rs 2,000 each directly into their bank accounts. Saini noted that more than 86 per cent of India’s farmers are small and marginal, and said the regular, direct support helps farming families meet expenses between harvests, from seeds and fertiliser to day-to-day needs, without depending on intermediaries.
The Bhiwani programme also underlined the scale of the scheme in Haryana. The state’s farmers have now received support through every one of the 24 instalments since the scheme began, and the latest payment continues that unbroken chain. For Bhiwani’s farming families, the Rs 24.20 crore credited in this round adds to the district’s share of a programme that reaches lakhs of households in every district of the state.
Farmers who have not yet received an instalment are advised to check that their e-KYC is complete and that their Aadhaar is linked to their bank account, as these are the usual reasons for a delayed payment. The state government has said eligible families should verify their details on the PM-KISAN portal so that future instalments reach them without interruption.
