HSSC CET Group D Exam Date 2026 — this tracker page carries the latest official updates on the exam date and admit card for the Group D recruitment under Advt 05/2026. Every official announcement will be updated here first.

Latest Update — 7 November 2026

A live check of hssc.gov.in on 7 November 2026 found that HSSC has not announced any official exam date for the Group D exam. The ‘What’s New’ section on the HSSC website still shows only two links — ‘Apply for CET Group D-05/2026’ and ‘Apply for Advt no. 06/2026’ — and there is no live link for the exam date, the Examination City Intimation Slip or the admit card. No notice dated 16 October 2026 was found in the Public Notice section either. So the position of this tracker remains the same: the exam date has not been officially announced. This page will be updated as soon as HSSC makes an announcement.

Two dates are doing the rounds — what is true and what is not

Two different exam dates for the Group D exam are circulating on social media and several websites. Neither has any official basis on hssc.gov.in, so do not treat either as confirmed:

  • Claim 1 — 21–22 November 2026: It is being said that this will be an NTA OMR exam (morning 10:00–11:45 AM, evening 3:00–4:45 PM) and that an Examination City Intimation Slip will be issued. This claim is linked to a notice dated 16 October 2026 under Advt 01/2026, but no such notice was found on hssc.gov.in. Also, Advt 01/2026 is not the Group D advertisement — according to HSSC’s own Advertisements list, the Group D advertisement is Advt 05/2026 (issued 18 June 2026).
  • Claim 2 — 14–15 November 2026: It is being said that the Advt 05/2026 exam will be held on 14–15 November 2026 and that admit cards will be available from 7 November. As of 7 November 2026, there is no live admit card download link on hssc.gov.in, so this date is also unconfirmed.

Conclusion: As of today, neither 21–22 November nor 14–15 November is confirmed on hssc.gov.in. Only the date published by HSSC on its own website will count — this tracker will print a date only when HSSC issues it.

Do not trust aggregator dates

Many websites and aggregators are publishing different dates for the Group D exam, but they do not agree with each other and none of them is official. Do not rely on these dates — the correct exam date will be available only on HSSC’s official website, hssc.gov.in.

City Intimation Slip vs Admit Card — the difference

These are two different documents — do not confuse them:

  • Examination City Intimation Slip: This only tells you in which city your exam will be held, so you can plan your travel in advance. It is not an admit card and it will not get you entry into the exam centre.
  • Admit Card (hall ticket): This carries the name and address of the exam centre, the shift and timings, the roll number and the exam instructions. Entry to the exam will be on the basis of this card.

As of 7 November 2026, neither the City Intimation Slip link nor the admit card link is live on hssc.gov.in. As soon as either link is issued, it will be added to this tracker.

How to download the slip / admit card (once the link goes live)

Both documents will be issued on HSSC’s official website, hssc.gov.in. Once the link is live:

  1. Open hssc.gov.in and check the ‘What’s New’ or ‘Public Notice’ section.
  2. Open the CET Group D City Slip / Admit Card link.
  3. Log in with your CET registration / application details.
  4. Download the slip / admit card, take a printout and read all the instructions on it carefully.

Note: the download link will be available only on HSSC’s official website hssc.gov.in (if the official notice names any other portal, it will be added here) — do not download your admit card from any other website.

What to carry on the exam day

  • A printout of the admit card
  • A valid photo ID (such as Aadhaar card)
  • Anything else the instructions on the admit card ask for (such as a passport-size photograph, if asked)

The exam centre, timings and important instructions will be printed on the admit card itself — read it carefully before the exam.

What will this tracker update?

As soon as HSSC announces it, this page will add: the official exam date, the City Intimation Slip and admit card download links, exam centre information and other important instructions.

Eligibility and CET Scorecard

A CET scorecard is required for the Group D recruitment. Eligibility and other conditions are as per the official notification (Advt 05/2026) — do read the official notification before applying.

What is the position so far?

HSSC’s official website hssc.gov.in has the ‘CET Group D-05/2026’ application link for Group D. But no official information has been issued so far about the exam date, City Intimation Slip or admit card. Candidates are advised not to trust dates given on social media or other websites — information about the exam date and admit card will first be published on the HSSC website itself.

When and where will the admit card be available?

Once the Commission announces the exam date, the admit card download link will also be given on hssc.gov.in. You will need your CET registration or application details to download the admit card. The exam centre, timings and important instructions will be printed on the admit card itself, so read it carefully before the exam. Until then, keep your CET score and application details safe and keep checking the ‘What’s New’ and ‘Public Notice’ sections of the HSSC website regularly.
