UP Gram Panchayat Adhikari Recruitment 2026: 508 Posts, Apply from November 10 to December 1

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has notified 508 posts of Gram Panchayat Adhikari in the state’s Panchayati Raj Directorate under Advertisement No. 26-Exam/2026. Online applications will open on 10 November 2026 and close on 1 December 2026 on the commission’s official website upsssc.gov.in. The posts form part of the Combined Lower Subordinate Services (Intermediate Level) Main Examination, a 1,784-post recruitment drive for candidates who appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025.

Of the 508 Gram Panchayat Adhikari posts, 215 are unreserved, 167 for OBC candidates, 104 for SC candidates, 21 for EWS candidates and 1 for ST candidates. The notification says the vacancy numbers may be revised under the applicable rules. The Gram Panchayat Adhikari is the second-largest post in the drive after the 525 Village Development Officer (Social Welfare) posts; together the two posts account for 1,033 of the 1,784 vacancies. The drive covers 12 post entries across ten departments of the Uttar Pradesh government.

For eligibility, a candidate must have passed Intermediate (Class 12) and hold a CCC certificate from NIELIT (formerly DOEACC). Only candidates who appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025 and hold a valid scorecard can apply; candidates appearing in PET 2026 are not eligible for this drive. The prescribed age limit is 18 to 40 years. Reservation benefits apply only to Uttar Pradesh domicile candidates; candidates from other states are treated as unreserved.

The posts carry Pay Level 3, from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month, plus applicable allowances. The application fee is Rs 25. Selection is through the main written examination conducted by UPSSSC.
