UP UPPSC Lecturer Exam 2026: Screening Exam from 2 to 6 November Admit Card Out
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), Prayagraj, is conducting the Lecturer Screening Examination 2026 from 2 November to 6 November 2026, as part of its Various Posts recruitment under Advertisement Number D-3/E-1/2023. Candidates who applied for these posts can download their admit cards from the commission’s official website, uppsc.up.nic.in, using their One Time Registration (OTR) number. The examination is being held in sequence for different posts over the 2 to 6 November window, so every candidate must check the exact date, shift and centre printed on their own admit card rather than assuming a single common date.
This recruitment, originally advertised in 2023, covers a total of 395 posts across several specialised categories, including Lecturer posts in government Ayurveda colleges, along with Scientific Officer, Dental Surgeon, Medical Officer, Reader and other posts. The Lecturer screening examination is one stage in a long-running selection process for these specialist teaching and professional roles in Uttar Pradesh government institutions. Because the advertisement covers more than one post type, candidates should confirm on the admit card and the commission’s notice which post and paper their examination relates to, and follow only the instructions issued for that paper.
UPPSC has issued the examination documents in two steps for this round. First, a district information slip was made available from 24 October 2026, giving candidates advance information about the district of their examination centre. That slip is advance information only and is not the admit card itself. The actual admit card was then released from 30 October 2026, three days before the first examination papers, again through the OTR login on uppsc.up.nic.in. Candidates appearing in the later papers of the 2 to 6 November window should therefore make sure they have downloaded the admit card itself, not just the district slip, and should check every detail on it — name, photograph, roll number, examination date, reporting time and centre address — before leaving for the centre.
On the examination day, candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof, and they should reach the centre well before the reporting time printed on the hall ticket. They should also read the instructions sheet issued with the admit card about what is allowed inside the examination hall and what is not, since screening examinations follow strict entry and conduct rules. Candidates who find any mismatch between the admit card and their application details should contact the commission through its official channels immediately, rather than waiting until the examination day.
After the screening examination, the commission will publish further stages and results on uppsc.up.nic.in, and candidates should keep their admit card safe until the entire recruitment process is complete. With 395 posts at stake across these specialist categories, the screening examination is a decisive step for applicants who have waited since the 2023 advertisement for this stage. The official website remains the only authentic source for the admit card link, examination schedule and any further notice, and candidates should avoid relying on unofficial links shared on social media.
