Uttarakhand NIT Non-Teaching Recruitment 2026: 21 Posts Apply by November 4
The National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand has invited applications for 21 non-teaching posts at its Srinagar Garhwal campus, offering an opening for candidates seeking institute-level government-sector roles in Uttarakhand. The recruitment is advertised as Advertisement No. 08/2026 dated 21 September 2026, and online applications must be submitted through the institute website nituk.ac.in by 4 November 2026. The 21 posts cover five roles. Technician Selection Grade-II has the largest share with 7 posts, followed by Technical Assistant with 6 posts, Technician with 4 posts, Junior Assistant with 3 posts and Superintendent with 1 post. The appointments are on a deputation or contractual basis, initially for one year, which may be extended further as per institute requirements. Candidates should therefore read the post-wise terms in the detailed advertisement carefully before applying, since eligibility, experience and pay conditions differ across the five roles. Selection will be through a written test followed by a trade test for the relevant posts, as prescribed in the advertisement and the institute recruitment rules. The application fee is Rs 500 for Superintendent and Technical Assistant posts and Rs 250 for the other posts, with exemption for SC, ST, women and persons with disabilities candidates and for those applying on deputation. Applicants must check the fee and eligibility details for their chosen post in the notification, since the fee and qualifications are post-specific. Applying online alone is not enough for this recruitment. After submitting the online form, candidates must send a printed hard copy of the complete application to the Registrar, National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand, Srinagar Campus, Srinagar Garhwal, District Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand 246174, so that it reaches the institute by 11 November 2026 up to 5:30 pm. Applications whose hard copy does not arrive by that time will not be considered, so candidates in Uttarakhand and elsewhere should post the documents well in advance and keep proof of submission.
