Rajasthan has recorded a major achievement in the implementation of the central government’s national schemes, ranking first in the country in 12 schemes, second in 10 and third in 8. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma shared the achievement on Sunday, November 1, expressing happiness and thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his visionary leadership, guidance and welfare vision, which he said inspires the state government to work with commitment in development, good governance, energy, agriculture, health, sanitation and public welfare. Agriculture and solar energy led Rajasthan’s performance. Under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, the state stood first in the country with 2.18 crore policies in Kharif 2025 and 1.71 crore policies in Rabi 2025-26. In the PM-KUSUM scheme, Rajasthan also ranked first in the installation of renewable and solar energy under Component A and in the number of solarised feeders under Component C, strengthening cheaper and more reliable solar power for irrigation for farmers. Cleanliness and public participation campaigns also put Rajasthan at the top. Under the Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin, the state ranked first in the country in the conversion of targeted units during the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign 2025. Rajasthan also secured the first position as the best performing state in the Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari campaign. In the Fit India Freedom Run 2024, more than 6,000 of the 10,443 programmes held across the country took place in Rajasthan alone, a record in terms of public participation. The state’s position in the second-ranked schemes is also strong. Rajasthan stood second in the country in the February 2026 ranking of the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, in Poshan Maah 2025 activities, in the creation of ABHA IDs under the National Digital Health Mission, and in skill training, loan sanction and disbursement under the PM Vishwakarma scheme. Under the VB-G Ram G programme, work had started in nearly 97 per cent of gram panchayats, again earning the state the second position. The Chief Minister said the result shows the effective working style of the double engine government and better implementation of schemes on the ground. The government says the same pace of taking welfare schemes to the ground will continue, so that the benefit of development and good governance reaches every family in the state.
