Today, 3 November 2026, is the last date for applications to reach the Indian Coast Guard Region (West) for 6 civilian Group C posts in India. This is a last-day reminder, and it comes with an important condition: applications are to be sent by ordinary post and must reach the headquarters by 3 November, so only candidates whose applications can still reach in time should rely on this window.

The 6 posts are Store Keeper Grade II (2 posts), Multi Tasking Staff (Peon) (2 posts), Multi Tasking Staff (Sweeper) (1 post) and Multi Tasking Staff (Chowkidar) (1 post). The age limit is 18 to 27 years, as stated in the recruitment notice. Eligibility differs by post, with the Store Keeper post requiring higher secondary education and the Multi Tasking Staff posts requiring matriculation, subject to the exact conditions in the official notification.

These are civilian posts in the Coast Guard organisation, not uniformed officer or sailor entries. They support stores, office and general duties, and they are based under the Western Region.

Candidates must use the application format given in the official notification and send it by ordinary post to the address specified there. Applications sent by other means, or reaching after the last date, are liable to be rejected. Applicants should also attach the documents and photographs asked for in the notification and keep a copy of the application for their records.

Because the deadline is receipt by 3 November, candidates should not assume that posting an application today guarantees delivery today. The notification should be checked for the exact address, superscription to be written on the envelope and any other instructions before dispatch.

After the last date, the Coast Guard will follow its notified selection process for these Group C posts. Candidates should watch the official Indian Coast Guard website for further updates and avoid agents or unofficial links promising selection.
