Fresh registration for the second round of counselling for Haryana’s ANM, GNM and MPHW (Male) diploma courses for the 2026-27 academic session closes today, 4 November 2026, at 11:59 pm. The second round is being conducted through combined centralised online counselling by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, for admission to government and private nursing and MPHW training institutions across Haryana. Candidates who missed the first round, or who did not get a seat in it, can still take part, since the official notice specifically provides for fresh registration in this round on the admission portal, nursing.online-counselling.co.in.

According to the university’s public notice dated 31 October 2026, the second-round schedule runs as follows: fresh registration on the online portal from 1 November to 4 November 2026 up to 11:59 pm, and locking of preferences or choice filling from 1 November to 5 November 2026 up to 11:59 pm. The merit list will be displayed on 5 November 2026 at 11:00 am, followed by online allotment of institute and course on 6 November 2026 at 11:00 am. Verification of original documents for eligibility, fee deposition and admission by the allotted institute through the online portal will then take place from 6 November 2026 at 11:00 am to 7 November 2026 up to 5:00 pm. Candidates should complete each step within its window, because a missed deadline at any stage can cost them the allotted seat.

Admission to these courses is merit-based, with no separate entrance examination: the merit list is drawn on the basis of marks in the qualifying Class 12 examination. For eligibility, the ANM course requires Class 12 passed and is open to female candidates only, the GNM course requires Class 12 passed or ANM and is open to both male and female candidates, and the MPHW (Male) course requires Class 12 passed and is open to male candidates only. The age limit for applicants is 17 to 35 years as on 31 December 2026. The application fee is Rs 1,000 for general category candidates and Rs 750 for EWS, SC, BC, PH, ESM and FF category candidates, payable online. The course fee in government institutions is Rs 15,000, while private institution fees are listed as Rs 1,37,800 for ANM, Rs 1,98,200 for GNM and Rs 94,000 for MPHW (Male).

Candidates taking part should first check the official notice and the counselling portal, keep their Class 12 marksheet, category certificate if applicable, identity proof and other documents ready for verification, and fill their institute and course preferences carefully in order of priority before the choice-locking deadline on 5 November. After allotment on 6 November, they must complete document verification and fee payment within the window ending at 5:00 pm on 7 November to confirm admission. For comparison, the first round of this counselling had registration from 26 to 28 October, a merit list on 29 October and allotment on 30 October, so this second round is the next and time-sensitive opportunity for nursing aspirants in Haryana. Applicants should rely only on the official counselling portal and university notices for dates and lists, and avoid acting on unofficial claims.
