Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has opened applications for 335 apprentice posts in its Western Region for 2026. The online application window opened on 5 October and will close on 4 November 2026 at 5 PM, so candidates have only a short time left to apply.

The recruitment covers Trade Apprentice, Technician Apprentice and Graduate Apprentice posts. These apprenticeships give candidates practical training in a large public sector energy company, and they are a common first step for young people entering technical and commercial roles.

The age limit for applicants is 18 to 24 years, as stated in the recruitment notice. Candidates should check the notification for the qualification required for each trade, the age relaxation rules and the documents needed, because requirements differ by post.

Selection is based on merit and document verification, according to the recruitment summaries. There is no application fee mentioned in those summaries, but candidates should confirm the fee, if any, in the official notification before submitting the form.

Applicants should apply through the official IOCL website and the apprenticeship portal as directed in the notification. They should register with correct personal details, choose the correct trade and region, and upload documents in the required format.

Because the last date is 4 November, candidates should not leave the form to the final hours. Portal delays, document errors and mismatched details are common reasons for incomplete applications, and a form submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

After applying, candidates should keep the application number and a copy of the submitted form. They should also watch the official IOCL recruitment pages for merit lists and document verification updates, and avoid paying anyone who promises a seat or selection.
