Haryana Direct Bus to Khatu Shyam: Ladwa Service from November 3 via Kurukshetra
Devotees from Kurukshetra district will get a direct road link to Khatu Shyam Ji from Tuesday, with Haryana Roadways starting a special bus service from Ladwa bus stand on 3 November 2026.
Kurukshetra Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena said the service has been decided by Haryana State Transport, Kurukshetra, keeping in mind the convenience of devotees. The bus will run regularly from 3 November, giving pilgrims from Ladwa and Kurukshetra a single direct journey instead of a multi-leg trip.
The bus will leave Ladwa bus stand at 6:10 am and depart from the new bus stand at Kurukshetra at 6:40 am, travelling via Kurukshetra to Khatu Shyam Ji. On the return leg, the same bus will leave Khatu Shyam Ji at 6:30 am the next day for Ladwa. Passengers have been asked to check the full timetable at the enquiry and booking counters at Ladwa and Kurukshetra bus stands, where staff can confirm the detailed schedule.
The operational announcement follows Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s announcement at a Baba Khatoo Shyam jagran in Kurukshetra on 2 November, where he announced a new Haryana Roadways service connecting Kurukshetra to Baba Khatoo Shyam Dham in Sikar district of Rajasthan. Saini was responding directly to a plea from a devotee present at the gathering, and said in his post that meeting the expectations of people who approach him with hope is his duty as the state’s chief servant.
Khatu Shyam Dham in Sikar is one of northern India’s most visited pilgrimage sites, and a direct morning service matters most for devotees who otherwise depend on private transport or changing buses en route. A regular early departure from Ladwa, with a Kurukshetra pick-up, makes a same-trip darshan plan far simpler for families in the district.
For now, the confirmed, usable details are the start date and the two morning departure times given by the district administration, along with the next-morning return time. Travellers should confirm the fare and any intermediate stops at the bus stand counters before travelling, since the Chief Minister’s route announcement itself did not publish a start date, frequency or fare structure.
