Haryana Panipat Anganwadi Recruitment 2026: 180 Worker and Helper Posts, Apply Offline by October 30

Haryana’s Women and Child Development Department has opened recruitment for Anganwadi Worker and Helper posts in Panipat district, with applications invited in offline mode and a last date of October 30, 2026. A total of 180 vacancies are on offer in Panipat — 52 Anganwadi Worker posts and 128 Anganwadi Helper posts. The recruitment, which began on October 8, is being held after a gap of nearly eight years for these posts in the district, making it a significant opportunity for eligible women candidates in Panipat. Only female candidates are eligible for these posts, and the applicant must be a resident of the same gram panchayat or ward where the vacancy exists. For the Worker post, candidates must have passed Class 12, while Helper applicants must have passed Class 10. The age limit is 18 to 42 years, with relaxation for eligible special categories, including widows, divorced and deserted women, as per departmental rules. There is no application fee for any category. Interested candidates should obtain the prescribed application form from the concerned Women and Child Development Project Officer office, fill it out, attach the required documents, and submit it by hand at the same office during office hours before the last date. Applications must be submitted at the WCDPO office covering the candidate’s gram panchayat or ward — in Panipat district, these include Israna, Bapoli, Matlauda, Panipat-Rural, Panipat-Urban and Samalkha. Selection will be based on a merit list prepared from marks, followed by document verification. Additional weightage is given for higher educational qualifications and relevant experience, as set out in the notification.
