The Uttar Pradesh government will hold a three-day mega job fair in Varanasi from November 3 to 5, 2026, giving young job seekers in the temple city a direct route to private-sector employment. Organised by the Regional Employment Office under the Uttar Pradesh Employment Mission, the fair will bring around 40 companies to a different venue on each of the three days, with recruitment for candidates across a wide range of educational qualifications.

The schedule covers three locations across the city. On November 3, the fair will be held at Jagatpur Inter College in Jagatpur. On November 4, it moves to Credence International School at Umarha Bazaar on Ghazipur Road. The final day, November 5, will be hosted at Queens Intermediate College in Lahurabir. Candidates have been asked to reach their chosen venue by 10 am carrying their resumes, so that they can take part in interviews and selection processes during the day.

Around 40 companies are expected to take part on each day, spanning manufacturing, banking, retail, logistics and services. Among the names listed for the fair are Dixon Company, Madrasan Company, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Vikas Group, Swiggy, ICICI Bank, Sata Vikas Private Limited, Vardhman Fabrics, Tokal Kogal Private Limited, Deliveroo, Flipkart, Kelvin Pipes, Rezon Solar Limited and Krishna Maruti. Companies will select candidates on the basis of educational qualification, skills and the requirements of each role.

The pay on offer makes the fair relevant to a broad group of applicants. Selected candidates can expect monthly salaries ranging from Rs 12,000 to Rs 35,000, while some positions carry annual packages exceeding Rs 4 lakh. Eligibility is deliberately wide: candidates who have completed high school, intermediate, graduation or postgraduation, as well as those holding diplomas or ITI certificates, can attend. That range means school leavers, fresh graduates and skilled ITI holders can all find openings at the same venue.

The drive is part of the Uttar Pradesh government’s effort, under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, to connect youth with employment and move them towards self-reliance. Assistant Director (Employment) Mukesh Kumar, who announced the venues, said the fairs are being organised ahead of Diwali as part of that push, while employment fair in-charge Deep Singh has advised candidates to arrive on time with their resumes. For job seekers in and around Varanasi, the three days offer a practical chance to meet several employers in one place rather than applying company by company.
