ITPO Recruitment 2026 India: 46 Senior Assistant and Junior Assistant Posts, Apply by November 13
The India Trade Promotion Organisation, a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry that manages the Bharat Mandapam complex in New Delhi, has invited applications for 46 regular posts through direct recruitment. The notification carries Advertisement Number F.No.4-ITPO(3)/E-I/2026.
The vacancies are spread across six designations. There are 7 Senior Assistant (Civil) posts, 4 Senior Assistant (Electrical) posts and 1 Senior Assistant (Architecture) post, along with 10 Assistant (Accounts) posts, 5 Junior Stenographer posts and 19 Junior Assistant (General Cadre) posts. Together, the Junior Assistant and Assistant (Accounts) posts account for 29 of the 46 seats. Pay is on the IDA pattern, ranging from Rs 25,000 to Rs 1,10,000 depending on the post.
There is one important condition applicants must note. This recruitment does not hold a separate written examination. Selection is based on the scores of candidates who appeared in the SSC Junior Engineer 2024, SSC CGL 2024 or SSC Stenographer Grade C 2024 examinations, were not finally recommended, and opted to disclose their scores under the Department of Personnel and Training disclosure scheme. For the Senior Assistant (Architecture) post, GATE 2024, 2025 or 2026 scores are used.
Age and experience are reckoned as on 13 November 2026, and the upper age limit is around 27 to 28 years depending on the post. The application fee is Rs 1,000 for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempt.
Online applications opened on 17 October 2026 and close on 13 November 2026, and the fee must also be paid by the same date. Candidates can apply through the ITPO application portal linked from indiatradefair.com. Before applying, they should read the official notification carefully, since eligibility, experience requirements and the score-disclosure condition differ by post.
