The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has declared the final result for the Forest Ranger and Deputy Ranger posts in the Forest Department, Haryana. The result was declared on 22 October 2026 and covers Forest Ranger (Category Number 102) under Advertisement Number 09/2024 and Deputy Ranger (Category Number 295) under Advertisement Number 11/2024. The result is available roll-number wise and category-wise on the commission’s official website, hssc.gov.in, where candidates can check their qualification status and the category-wise cut-off marks.
For the Forest Ranger post, 43 roll numbers have been listed across the categories, and the marks secured by the last selected candidate in each category are given as the cut-off. The highest cut-off is 61.425 marks in the Unreserved category, where 21 candidates have been selected. The cut-off is 60.45 marks for the Unreserved Disabled Ex-Servicemen category and for the Economically Weaker Sections category, 58.5 marks for the Unreserved-against-EWS category and for the Backward Classes (B) category, 56.55 marks for the Backward Classes (A) category, 53.625 marks for the Unreserved Ex-Servicemen category and 44.85 marks for the Scheduled Caste category, which is the lowest. The result also records the date of birth of the last selected candidate in each category in Annexure-A — 8 April 1998 for the Unreserved category and 13 March 2000 for the Scheduled Caste category.
For the Deputy Ranger post, no candidate has been allocated in any category. The result states “No Candidate Allocated” for the Deputy Ranger categories, so no cut-off applies to that post. The commission has also published a list of candidates whose post or category allocation changed from the previous result, and candidates who appeared in the earlier result should check the final result carefully to confirm their current allocation. The result is the final selection list for these posts, not an intermediate stage, and candidates whose roll numbers appear in it have been allocated to the Forest Ranger post.
Candidates should note that the result is subject to correction of any inadvertent or technical error by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission and to the final outcome of any ongoing court cases. To check the result, candidates should visit hssc.gov.in, open the Results section and download the final result PDF for the Forest Ranger and Deputy Ranger posts, and search for their roll number in their category. Selected candidates should keep their educational certificates, caste certificate, domicile certificate and other documents ready and watch the commission’s website for further instructions about document verification and joining.
