Haryana’s final electoral roll will be published on November 30 2026, under a revised schedule issued by the Election Commission of India for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of voter lists. The Commission issued separate letters on October 29 to the chief electoral officers of the states and Union Territory covered by the revision, after the officers sought more time to complete different stages of the exercise. Haryana is among five states whose final rolls will now be published on November 30, along with Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Nagaland. Delhi’s final list will follow on December 22. For Haryana, the revised timetable extends the stage covering notices and the disposal of claims and objections till November 20, ahead of the November 30 publication of the final roll. The claims and objections process is the route through which residents seek inclusion in the roll, correction of their details, or deletion of entries. The Election Commission has directed the authorities concerned to publicise the revised schedule widely, so that eligible voters have sufficient opportunity to get their names included or seek corrections. Voters seeking further information or assistance have been advised to visit the Election Commission’s Voters’ Service Portal. The Special Intensive Revision is the Commission’s process for updating electoral rolls and verifying voter details. It covers the publication of draft rolls, the submission of claims and objections, scrutiny of applications, and the release of final electoral lists. The current phase of the revision covers a large number of states and Union Territories and has already seen its timetable extended more than once, as officials work through claims and objections filed by voters. In Haryana, the claims window had earlier closed on September 30, according to the state chief electoral officer’s website, while the windows in other covered states closed on different dates in recent months. The revised schedule gives the Haryana machinery a defined period till November 20 to issue notices and dispose of pending claims and objections before the final list is published. Voters in Haryana should therefore check their entry in the electoral roll and, if any correction or inclusion is needed, follow the process set out on the Voters’ Service Portal before the revised deadlines close.
