The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) is preparing to issue advertisements for around 2,400 posts in three new recruitments in November. Physical Training Instructor (PTI) posts number 1,200, Junior Engineer (JEN) posts around 900, and Tax Assistant posts 300. These posts will be filled in the Education Department, Urban Development and Housing Department, Water Resources Department and Finance Department. According to Board Chairman Alok Raj, the advertisement for around 900 Junior Engineer posts may be issued by 15 November. The advertisements for PTI and Tax Assistant will be issued after the model code of conduct is lifted. After Diwali, the board plans to speed up the recruitment process so that eligible candidates can apply on time.

This preparation is part of a bigger plan for about 7,840 posts in six new recruitments in Rajasthan in the coming two months. The plan includes 4,000 Village Development Officer (VDO) posts, 2,000 posts under the National Health Mission, 1,200 PTI posts, 300 Tax Assistant posts, 200 Patwari posts and 140 Coach posts. The board is also working on the examination calendar for 2027, so that the examinations for these recruitments are held on time. The result of the Computer Instructor recruitment was also to be issued by 4 November. Administrative preparations for these recruitments are almost complete, and the advertisements will be issued on the basis of recruitment proposals received from different departments.
Candidates should keep their documents ready from now — educational certificates, caste certificate, domicile certificate and photo identity proof. Since the Junior Engineer advertisement is expected by 15 November, candidates should keep a special watch on the board’s website in the second week of November. PTI and Tax Assistant candidates will also have to wait for the code of conduct to be lifted. Once applications open, it is better to fill the form before the last date, so that server rush or missing documents do not cost the candidate the opportunity.
Candidates should note that no advertisement has been issued yet for these three recruitments. The final number of posts, the department-wise and category-wise break-up, eligibility, age limit, examination dates and the last date to apply will be clear only in the official advertisement. Candidates should also note that the board had already issued a separate Junior Engineer advertisement in August 2026 for 874 posts (Advertisement Number 10/2026), whose examination is scheduled for 3, 4 and 5 February 2027.
