Delhi AUD Non-Teaching Recruitment 2026: 56 Posts Including Junior Assistant and Section Officer Apply by 6 November
Dr B R Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has invited online applications for 56 non-teaching posts under advertisement number AUD/55-1(127)/Rect./2026/1008. The recruitment covers direct recruitment and deputation posts across administration, library, medical, sports and technical services. The online application window, which opened on 17 October 2026, closes on 6 November 2026, and candidates must apply through the university’s official portal aud.delhi.gov.in. The last date was extended to 6 November, so applicants who have not yet applied have only a short window left.
The largest share is Junior Assistant / Caretaker with 40 posts. Senior Assistant has 6 posts and Section Officer has 4. Staff Nurse has 2 posts. Internal Audit Officer, System Administrator (IT), Sports Coach (Female) and Junior Library Assistant have 1 post each. Together these eight categories make up the 56 vacancies. Pay is given post-wise under the 7th Central Pay Commission levels — for example Internal Audit Officer at Level 12, System Administrator at Level 10, Section Officer at Level 7 and Senior Assistant and Staff Nurse at Level 6.
Qualifications range from 10+2 to postgraduate and professional degrees depending on the post. Junior Assistant needs 10+2 with typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 in Hindi, while the Caretaker stream needs ITI in Civil or Plumbing. Junior Library Assistant needs a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science plus computer knowledge and typing. Staff Nurse needs B.Sc (Hons) Nursing, registration with the nursing council and six months of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital. Section Officer needs a postgraduate degree with 50 percent marks and three years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with five years at Senior Assistant level. The two deputation posts — Internal Audit Officer and System Administrator — need relevant government or public-sector experience. Maximum age is 27 years for Junior Assistant and Junior Library Assistant, 30 for Staff Nurse, 35 for Section Officer, Senior Assistant and Sports Coach, and 56 for the deputation posts, with relaxation for reserved categories as per rules.
Applicants should first read the full advertisement on aud.delhi.gov.in, check the post-wise eligibility, age limit and fee details for their category, and keep scanned documents ready before filling the form. The form is submitted online only, and candidates should verify every entry before final submission and keep a copy of the submitted form. Selection will be through a test and/or interview as decided by the university for each post. Because the deadline is 6 November, applicants should not wait until the last hours, when portal traffic can cause delays. SC, ST, PwBD and female candidates are exempt from the application fee as per the listings; other candidates should confirm the fee for their post in the official notification before paying.
