Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Meets Punjab Industrialists, Invites Investment to Haryana
A delegation of industrialists from Punjab met Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in Chandigarh on Monday to discuss investment opportunities in the state. Welcoming the delegation, the chief minister invited the industrialists to set up units in Haryana and assured them of full government support and necessary facilities.
Saini said the Haryana government is working continuously to speed up industrial development and to create an investor-friendly environment. He said approvals and facilities from various departments are being provided through a single-window system, so that investors do not have to run from office to office to start a business.
Industrial land is also being made available according to the requirements of industries, the chief minister said, so that investors face no difficulty in setting up their units. The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) is in regular touch with industrialists and is inviting them to invest in the state, he added.
The delegation mainly comprised industrialists associated with the food processing industry. They discussed the facilities available in Haryana and the investment opportunities in the state with the chief minister. Saini said investors from other sectors are also keen to invest in Haryana, and investment opportunities in the state are steadily increasing.
Urging the delegation to take advantage of the opportunities in Haryana, the chief minister said they should become partners in the state’s industrial development. The meeting underlined Haryana’s pitch as a state where industry can get land, clearances and support under one system, with a special focus on food processing and allied sectors.
For Haryana, such meetings matter because new industrial units bring jobs, supply chains and local economic activity. The chief minister’s assurance of support, single-window approvals and land as per requirement is aimed at turning investor interest into projects on the ground.
