The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the admit cards for the UP Special Teacher Eligibility Test (Special TET) 2026, and candidates appearing for the examination can now download their hall tickets from the commission’s official website, upessc.up.gov.in. The examination is scheduled for November 3, 2026, and with only hours left before the test, candidates are advised not to wait until the last moment to download and check their admit cards.

The UP Special TET 2026 will be held across six divisional headquarters in Uttar Pradesh. The examination will be conducted in two shifts, with the first shift running in the morning and the second shift in the afternoon. Candidates will find their allotted examination city, centre address, shift timing and reporting time printed on the admit card itself, so every detail on the hall ticket should be checked carefully as soon as it is downloaded.

To download the hall ticket, candidates should visit the official UPESSC website at upessc.up.gov.in and look for the Special TET 2026 admit card link on the homepage. After opening the link, they will need to log in using their One-Time Registration (OTR) ID and password. Once the admit card appears on the screen, candidates should download the PDF and take a printout, because a printed copy of the hall ticket is mandatory for entry into the examination hall.

Candidates should note that digital copies of the admit card will not be accepted at the examination centre. Only candidates carrying a physical, printed copy of the hall ticket will be permitted inside the hall, so taking the printout in advance is essential. The admit card is also expected to carry the candidate’s name and roll number along with the examination date, shift and centre details, and any mismatch in these details should be noticed before the examination day rather than at the centre gate.

The examination will be conducted offline using OMR sheets, and candidates will get two hours and thirty minutes to complete the paper. There will be no negative marking in this examination, which means candidates can attempt all questions without any deduction for incorrect answers. This is useful information for candidates planning how to use their time in the examination hall.

The Special TET is meant for in-service teachers and special educators, and it covers the primary level and the upper primary level. Candidates who have already applied should therefore treat the admit card as their final confirmation of their examination centre and shift, and reach the centre well before the reporting time mentioned on the hall ticket. Carrying the printed admit card along with the other documents required by the commission will help avoid any difficulty on the examination day.

In short, the UP Special TET Admit Card 2026 is live now at upessc.up.gov.in, the examination is on November 3, 2026, across six divisional headquarters in two shifts, and candidates should download the hall ticket with their OTR ID and password, verify every detail on it, and carry a printed copy to the examination centre.
