Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit and Expo 2026 on Monday, November 2, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, according to an official statement from the Prime Minister’s Office. The Prime Minister will inaugurate the four-day summit at around 4:30 pm and address the gathering, setting the tone for one of India’s biggest clean energy events of the year.

The summit, also known as Bharat RE-INVEST, will run from November 2 to November 5, 2026, under the theme “Invest. Innovate. Inspire.” It brings together governments, global investors, technology providers and industry leaders from more than 130 countries to explore investment opportunities and strengthen international cooperation in the clean energy sector.

India has steadily built its position as one of the world’s largest renewable energy markets, and the summit is designed to turn that momentum into concrete investment. Sessions across the four days will focus on solar, wind, green hydrogen, energy storage and manufacturing, giving Indian and foreign companies a platform to announce projects and partnerships.

The event matters for India’s energy future. Clean energy capacity has grown rapidly in recent years, and the government has linked the expansion to jobs, manufacturing and energy security. A summit of this scale signals to investors that India intends to keep that growth going, with policy support and a large domestic market behind it.

For ordinary households, the expansion of renewable energy connects directly to electricity supply and prices over time. More solar and wind capacity, backed by storage, helps the grid meet rising demand while reducing dependence on imported fuels.

The Bharat Mandapam venue in the national capital will host exhibitions alongside the main sessions, showcasing new technologies in solar panels, batteries, electric mobility and green hydrogen. Delegations from state governments are also expected to pitch their own renewable energy opportunities to investors during the event.

The summit opens a busy week for the clean energy sector, with the discussions in New Delhi expected to feed into project announcements and investment commitments through the rest of the year.
