Delhi University Recruitment 2026: 126 Senior Assistant and Assistant Posts Apply by November 9

The University of Delhi has announced its Non-Teaching Recruitment 2026 drive for 126 Senior Assistant and Assistant posts under Advertisement Number R&P/323/2026, dated October 19, 2026. The online application process opened on October 23, 2026, through the university’s official recruitment portal, and candidates can apply until November 9, 2026, or within two weeks of the advertisement appearing in Employment News, whichever is later. Of the total 126 vacancies, 46 are for Senior Assistant posts at Pay Level 6 and 80 are for Assistant posts at Pay Level 4. The category-wise break-up includes 56 unreserved, 17 SC, 9 ST, 33 OBC and 11 EWS posts across the two cadres, making it one of the larger non-teaching openings at the university this year. For the Assistant post, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least two years of relevant experience as a Junior Assistant or in an equivalent position. Senior Assistant applicants need a bachelor’s degree with relevant experience as prescribed in the detailed notification. The upper age limit is 35 years for Senior Assistant and 32 years for Assistant, with relaxations as per government norms. Application fees range from Rs 600 to Rs 1,000 depending on category, as per the notification. Candidates should read the detailed advertisement on the university’s Work with DU page before applying, since the closing date is conditional on the Employment News publication date and any addendum will be posted only on the university website. Applications must be submitted online through du.ac.in.
