The Haryana Employment Department will invite online applications for unemployment allowance for educated unemployed candidates from 1 to 30 November 2026, through the department’s official portal, hrex.gov.in.

The scheme, run alongside the Saksham Yuva Yojana, is meant to provide social and financial security to educated youth who are searching for suitable career opportunities. Eligible candidates will receive a direct monthly allowance into their bank accounts while they look for work.

The monthly assistance varies with educational qualification. Candidates who have passed Class 12 or hold a diploma will receive Rs 1,200 per month, while graduates, those with higher education qualifications, or holders of a three-year diploma will receive Rs 2,000 per month. Those enrolled under the Saksham Yuva module can also earn up to Rs 2,000 allowance per month.

To be eligible, applicants must possess a domicile certificate of the district concerned and a Family ID, and their registration with an employment exchange must be at least three years old as of 31 October 2026. Applicants must be between 21 and 35 years of age and must meet the prescribed conditions on family income, property ownership and employment exchange registration.

Candidates should apply only through the official portal, hrex.gov.in, during the application window. No applications will be accepted after 30 November 2026, so eligible youth are advised to complete their forms well before the deadline rather than waiting until the last day.

The allowance is intended to bridge the gap between completing education and finding employment, giving registered unemployed youth consistent monthly support while they search for suitable opportunities. By combining direct financial assistance with the Saksham Yuva framework, the state government aims to help young job seekers stay financially steady as they prepare for and pursue work.
