The proposals were formalised through memoranda of understanding with industrial groups after one-to-one meetings with business leaders in Surat and Gandhinagar.

The agreements signed on Wednesday account for a large share of the total. Together, the two days of meetings took the total value of proposals past the Rs 50,000 crore mark.

The visit is part of the state’s ‘Happening Haryana 2.0’ investment outreach, aimed at drawing companies to expand in Haryana.

Saini told investors that Haryana offers strong industrial infrastructure, good connectivity, a skilled workforce and a business-friendly environment. He said the government is committed to simpler procedures, digital facilities and assistance within the rules so that industries can be set up and projects implemented without delay.

The Chief Minister said the proposals reflect growing investor confidence in Haryana’s industrial potential and its policies.
