Madhya Pradesh MPPGCL ITI Apprentice Recruitment 2026: 29 Posts at Amarkantak Plant Apply by 20 November
Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited has invited online applications for 29 ITI apprentice posts at its Amarkantak Thermal Power Station. The one-year apprenticeship training will be held at the plant in Chachai in Anuppur district, and the recruitment is being conducted under advertisement number 001-01/TRAINING/451. Candidates can submit their applications online until 20 November 2026.
The 29 seats are spread across six trades. Electrician has the largest share with 10 seats, followed by Fitter with 8 seats. Turner, Welder and Motor Mechanic have 3 seats each, while Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, known as COPA, has 2 seats. Applicants must hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade, and only residents of Madhya Pradesh are eligible to apply for these seats.
The age limit for applicants is 18 to 25 years, and the selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 9600. Selection will be made by shortlisting applications on the basis of ITI aggregate marks, followed by document verification. Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship or worked for more than a year in a similar role should check the notification carefully, as the apprenticeship rules exclude such applicants.
Interested candidates should first register on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in, and then complete the application for the MPPGCL drive before the deadline. Full details of the notification are available on the company’s official website, mppgcl.mp.gov.in. Applicants are advised to read the trade-wise eligibility conditions in the official notification and to finish the application well before 20 November, so that a last-minute technical problem does not cost them the opportunity.
