Haryana Cabinet Meeting on 3 November in Chandigarh: CM Saini to Chair Key Session
The Haryana Cabinet will meet on 3 November 2026 in Chandigarh, with Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in the chair. The meeting is scheduled for 11 am at the Haryana Civil Secretariat, according to the notice issued by the state government’s General Administration Department.
The notice, issued by the Cabinet Section on 31 October 2026, fixes the venue as the Main Committee Room on the fourth floor of the Haryana Civil Secretariat in Chandigarh. It has been issued by Anurag Rastogi, Secretary of the Council of Ministers, and sent to the Chief Minister, all ministers, the Governor’s secretary, all administrative secretaries and the Inspector General of Police (CID), so that all concerned officers can attend on time.
The Cabinet is the state government’s highest decision-making body. Its meetings take up proposals from different departments and decide matters of public interest, development projects, new policies and administrative decisions. Decisions taken in the Cabinet therefore have a direct bearing on the daily lives of people across Haryana, which is why each meeting is watched closely.
The official agenda for the 3 November meeting has not been made public so far. Media reports indicate that proposals from various departments and matters of public interest may come up for discussion, but which proposals will finally be placed before the Cabinet will only become clear on the day of the meeting, and no specific decision should be assumed in advance.
The meeting comes at a time when the state government is pushing development works and public welfare schemes across Haryana. Cabinet meetings are where such schemes are given their final shape and their implementation framework is decided, and the decisions taken on 3 November will be shared by the government after the meeting.
