Haryana Roadways Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Rohtak DV on 10 November, Merit List on 13 November

Document Verification (DV) for the 29 ITI Apprentice posts at Haryana Roadways’ Rohtak depot will be held on 10 November 2026, the merit list will be released on 13 November 2026, and joining for selected candidates will begin on 16 November 2026.

Meanwhile, applications for 45 posts at the Jhajjar depot remain open till 10 November 2026 (11:59 PM) — the Jhajjar cycle is the one currently open for applications, and document submission / DV for it is also scheduled on the same day, 10 November, at 10 AM.

This recruitment is for Haryana youth who have passed Class 10 and hold an ITI certificate — there is no written exam; selection is purely on merit based on Class 10 and ITI marks, and apprentices receive a monthly stipend of ₹8,190 to ₹12,000 (as listed on the portal) during the 15–25 month training, depending on the trade. Haryana Roadways’ depots run their own cycles through the year — this tracker covers the 2026 cycles of six depots (Rohtak, Jhajjar, Bhiwani, Hisar, Kaithal and Fatehabad), totalling 266–268 posts, all in one place.

Depot-wise tracker — status at each depot

Depot Posts Applications DV Merit list Joining Status
Rohtak 29 28 Oct–4 Nov 2026 10 Nov 2026 (depot workshop) 13 Nov 2026 16 Nov 2026 DV coming up
Jhajjar 45 3–10 Nov 2026 10 Nov 2026, 10 AM Not announced yet — Applications open
Bhiwani 44 7–8 Oct 2026 14 Oct 2026 — — Cycle closed
Hisar 95* 2–10 Mar 2026 — — — Cycle closed
Kaithal 31 29 May–3 Jun 2026 — — — Cycle closed
Fatehabad 24 27 Mar–5 Apr 2026 — — — Cycle closed

The Hisar difference: the category-wise break-up (General 53 + BC-A 14 + BC-B 10 + OSC 9 + DSC 9) adds up to 95, while some sources list 93 posts in the trade-wise list. That is why this tracker’s total is written as 266–268 — check the depot notice for the final figure.

Apart from Rohtak and Jhajjar, there was another Rohtak cycle in January 2026 (47 posts, applications 9–15 January, DV 19 January) and a Jhajjar cycle in July 2026 (22 posts) — both are closed. This tracker will be updated as soon as a new notice appears.

Rohtak — 29 posts, trade-wise break-up

Trade Posts
MMV (Mechanic Motor Vehicle) 5
Diesel Mechanic 5
Turner 1
Electrician 6
Painter 1
Carpenter 1
Welder 1
TRF / Fitter 5
Plumber 1
Black Smith / Sheet Metal Worker 1
Stenographer (Hindi) 2
Total 29

Note — 29 vs 53: some websites show 53 posts for Rohtak, but their own trade-wise lists also add up to 29 — the 53 figure appears to be wrong. This tracker follows the depot’s trade-wise list: 29 posts.

Full details of the Rohtak cycle:

  • Applications: 28 October – 4 November 2026 (closed)
  • DV: 10 November 2026, Rohtak Depot Workshop — carry original documents plus photocopies
  • Merit list: 13 November 2026
  • Joining: 16 November 2026
  • Establishment: General Manager, Haryana Roadways, Rohtak Depot — search code on the portal: E04160600082

What the portal shows (live check, 7 November 2026): under the Rohtak depot (code E04160600082), the NAPS portal currently shows only 1 opening — Electrician, 10 posts, posted 07 January 2026, stipend ₹8.19K–12.00K/month, duration 23 months — which appears to be a leftover listing from the January cycle. The October cycle’s (29 posts) listings no longer appear on the portal — applications closed on 4 November — so the DV / merit list dates are given from the depot notice (consistent across several sources).

Jhajjar — 45 posts, applications open till 10 November

  • Posts: 45 (ITI Trade Apprentice)
  • Applications: 3 November – 10 November 2026 (till 11:59 PM)
  • Document submission / DV: 10 November 2026, 10 AM
  • Merit list: Not announced yet — it will be released after DV through the depot notice
  • Eligibility: Class 10 pass + ITI in the relevant trade; Haryana resident; minimum age 14 years
  • Establishment: GM Haryana Roadways, Jhajjar — search code on the portal: E03160600021 (address: New Bus Stand, Jhajjar, Rohtak Road, Jhajjar — 124103)

Trade-wise break-up of Jhajjar’s 45 posts — verified on the NAPS portal (all 8 trades posted on 04 November 2026):

Trade Posts Duration Stipend (per month)
Fitter 7 25 months ₹8,190–₹10,560
Painter (General) 2 25 months ₹8,190–₹10,560
Electrician 8 23 months ₹8,190–₹10,560
Mechanic Diesel 6 25 months ₹8,190–₹10,560
Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) 6 25 months ₹8,190–₹10,560
Carpenter 7 25 months ₹8,190–₹10,560
Welder (Gas and Electric) 7 15 months ₹8,190–₹9,600
Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) 2 15 months ₹8,190–₹9,600
Total 45

Note: the portal shows no closing date for any of Jhajjar’s openings — only “posted on 04 November 2026”. The 10 November last date is from the depot notice (consistent across several sources) — apply well before 10 November.

Candidates applying in Jhajjar should submit the form on apprenticeshipindia.gov.in before 10 November and keep their documents ready for DV at 10 AM the same day.

Bhiwani, Hisar, Kaithal, Fatehabad — closed 2026 cycles

  • Bhiwani — 44 posts: Applications 7–8 October 2026, hard copies submitted at the workshop on 9 October, DV on 14 October 2026. Loharu and Tosham sub-centres were included with Bhiwani.

  • Fatehabad — 24 posts: Applications 27 March – 5 April 2026. Trades: Diesel Mechanic 15, Electrician 5, Carpenter 2, Welder 1, Machinist 1.

All four cycles are closed — check the depot workshop notice board and the apprenticeship portal for their merit list / joining updates.

Eligibility — who can apply?

Educational qualification

  • Class 10 pass (from a recognised board) + ITI certificate in the relevant trade — both are mandatory.
  • The trade must be one asked for in the depot’s notice (such as MMV, Diesel Mechanic, Electrician, Welder, Fitter, Painter, Carpenter, COPA, Stenographer).

Age limit

  • Minimum age 14 years (under the Apprenticeship Act).
  • The upper limit differs in each depot’s notice — Rohtak’s notice says 14–40 years; Hisar’s says 14–30 years (as on 1 January 2026). Reserved categories get relaxation under the rules — check the concerned depot’s notice for the exact limit.

Domicile

  • Being a Haryana resident is mandatory — this condition appears in every depot’s notice.

Application fee

  • No fee — the form is free for all categories.

Stipend — how much will apprentices get?

Training / trade Monthly stipend (as listed on the NAPS portal)
Jhajjar — most trades (Fitter, Painter, Electrician, Diesel Mechanic, MMV, Carpenter) ₹8,190–₹10,560
Jhajjar — Welder, COPA ₹8,190–₹9,600
Rohtak — Electrician (portal listing) ₹8,190–₹12,000
  • The stipend depends on the trade and the training duration — which is why different trades show different ranges.
  • Note on older rates: some sources still cite the older NAPS rates of ₹7,700–₹8,050 — go by the current rates listed on the portal.
  • This is a training allowance, not the salary of a permanent job — the apprenticeship lasts 15–25 months depending on the trade.

Selection process — from merit to joining

  1. Online application — register / log in on apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and apply for the depot.
  2. Merit list — based on Class 10 and ITI marks; no written exam and no interview.
  3. Document Verification (DV) — original documents of merit-listed candidates are checked at the depot workshop (Rohtak: 10 November 2026).
  4. Final merit list — released after DV (Rohtak: 13 November 2026).
  5. Joining — selected candidates join at the depot workshop (Rohtak: 16 November 2026).

Clear warning: there is no exam in the Roadways apprentice recruitment — anyone asking for money in the name of an “exam date” or “admit card” is a fraud. Trust only apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and the depot notices.
