India Social Protection Coverage Jumps to 68.4 Percent in 2026 Over One Billion People Covered
An official government factsheet released on 31 October 2026 says India social protection coverage has risen from 19 percent in 2015 to 68.4 percent in 2026 covering more than one billion people.
