Haryana: CM Saini Gives Bhiwani Over Rs 142 Crore Development Gift, Inaugurates and Lays Foundation of 8 Projects
Bhiwani. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday gave Bhiwani district a development gift worth more than Rs 142 crore. During his visit, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of a total of 8 development projects. Six completed projects worth Rs 133.66 crore were inaugurated, while foundation stones were laid for two new works costing more than Rs 8.46 crore.
The biggest project is the sewage treatment plant built on the Bhiwani-Charkhi Dadri Road at a cost of more than Rs 84.33 crore. The treated water from this plant will be used for irrigation, which will directly benefit farmers in nearby villages. The villages of Prahladgarh, Nimriwali, Halwas, Dhana Narsan and Dhirana Kalan are expected to gain from this project.
In transport and connectivity, the Chief Minister inaugurated a railway overbridge built on the Rewari-Bathinda railway line at a cost of more than Rs 26.03 crore. The overbridge at level crossing 52-C will end the long traffic jams that formed whenever trains passed, and movement between the areas on both sides will become much faster.
Projects strengthening education and power supply are also part of the gift. A laboratory built at a cost of more than Rs 7.47 crore in the senior secondary wing of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan School was inaugurated. For electricity, three 33 kV substations were inaugurated — Kairu at Rs 4.30 crore, Bhakhra at Rs 7.23 crore and Ishwarwal-2 at Rs 4.28 crore. These substations will make power supply in the region stronger and more reliable.
Foundation stones were also laid for two new projects. A block office building will come up in Tosham at a cost of Rs 4.14 crore, bringing administrative work under one roof. A primary health centre will be built in Bamla village at a cost of more than Rs 4.32 crore, giving villagers medical facilities close to home.
Together, these projects will strengthen sewerage, transport, education, electricity and health infrastructure across Bhiwani district, bringing everyday facilities closer to the people.
